Girls and Company
This exhibition of artwork from MMoCA's permanent collection examines the legacy of feminism through paintings, photographs and prints from the 1960s to '90s. Artists including Marisol Joan Brown, Cindy Sherman, Jenny Holzer and women's collaborative the Guerilla Girls react to and pose the question of what it means to be a feminist artist today. Concerts on the Square
One of the city's most beloved and characteristic events. Concerts on the Square celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary. Led by maestro Andrew Sewell, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra's music creates an elegant, relaxed atmosphere around the Capitol Square.
