American Brunch on Bassett Street
Get your fill of eggs and doughnuts all day, every day at Bassett Street Brunch Club
Start your day with fried chicken and a sunny side up egg on a biscuit (front) and a side of cheese grits, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a doughnut or two.

The English claim they invented brunch, but nowhere is it more popular than in the States. It isn’t just for weekends anymore, but every day, all day at Bassett Street Brunch Club. It’s a downtown diner that serves up big helpings of old favorites like eggs Benedict, corned beef hash and fried chicken on a biscuit—add a side of cheese grits, please! The imaginative menu includes sandwiches, salads and dinners, too. Sweet indeed is a rainbow assortment of house-made doughuts and Nana’s red velvet cake—yum! BSBC is an inspired addition to the heart of an ever more urban UW campus.
