Decked Out
Corey Hart jams outside at the High Noon
Corey Hart traces his love for acoustic guitar back to his Milwaukee childhood—specifically, hearing Willy Porter play.
“I’ve probably seen him a hundred times,” says the Madison singer-songwriter.
Hart’s own music has become a blend of styles—“I’ve found a place that’s not quite folk, not quite pop, not quite Americana”—and it’s been eagerly received in venues across the city.
On September 13, Hart heads to the High Noon Saloon for a concert on the deck.
“It’ll be a mix of new stuff, old stuff, some covers,” he says, “a hanging-out-on-the-patio kind of vibe.”
