Sarah Marty's a Local Theater Star
She's involved with arts groups across the city

Spend time in Madison’s arts scene and you’ll hear one name over and over: Sarah Marty.
She heads UW–Madison’s Continuing Studies in Theatre Programs, and is also involved with Four Seasons Theatre, Madison Theatre Guild, Forward Theater Company, the Madison Early Music Festival and the UW Varsity Band Spring Concert.
Marty, who worked as a teacher before earning her master’s at UW’s Bolz Center for Arts Administration, attributes her inspiring amount of involvement to “farm-kid guilt.”
“I have this feeling of needing to take advantage of every opportunity I can.”
