Small Town Downtown

Tried-and-true favorites at The Fountain

The Fountain Burger

The Fountain Burger

It could be the corner café in any burg in our state, except that it’s located in the middle of State Street. Pride of place is a century-old mahogany bar that once graced a Beaver Dam tavern. Food and beverages at The Fountain enlist the tried-and-true favorites, made with flair using local ingredients. The roster includes crispy fried cheese curds, seven decadent burgers (one, the “John Deer” Burger, made from venison), stout-slathered baby back ribs and thirty Wisconsin beers. The on-premises bakery, The Baker’s Window, makes artisan bread, pastries and pies.

The Fountain is comfortable yet smart.
