Captain Bill’s Fits the Bill

Send your taste buds overboard at Captain Bill’s

It’s a restaurant so wed to its setting that seemingly it was simply meant to be. None of the von Rutenberg ventures—Mariner’s Inn, Nau-Ti-Gal, Westport Marine and Betty Lou Cruises—stray far from the water, but only Captain Bill’s specializes in seafood. The selection spans Atlantic to Pacific and everything in between. Clam chowder, crabcakes and coconut shrimp are first-rate. Go overboard and add crab legs or lobster tails to anything, but leave room for the homemade key lime pie. The fireplace is cozy in winter, the leviathan deck is idyllic in summer, and the dining experience is fun year-round.

DELIGHTS OF THE SEA:
Menu highlights range from seafood pizza to crab cakes to clam chowder.
