It’s all about making movement fun. As we start a New Year, we hope women in the Madison area can find a way to include some type of exercise or movement—just a half-hour—in your day. We’ve both been active for years but always believed there was something we could do to take you beyond the workout. We wanted your time exercising to also be inspirational.
It’s a big part of the reason we started including positive affirmations and mental images along with exercises. Too often the typical workout is just that - typical. We infuse exercising with power of the mind reminders—like taking time to appreciate your physical and mental abilities, and being grateful for how you’re doing and feeling in that particular moment. It is turning feeling fit into also feeling empowered: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We are also finding that you can easily keep that great state of mind the entire day, no matter what is thrown your way! This form of exercising may eventually mean more women will enjoy taking care of themselves and feeling good about it. It’s why we are creating a community at Siren Fitness after realizing what we were looking for from our own workouts all those years ago. Here’s to making 2009 the start of your movement-filled New Year. And think positive, because your best is really yet to come!
