Dr. Helen H. Kay, voted one of Madison’s “Top Docs” in 1998, now teaches and practices at the University of Chicago, where she is Chief of Obstetrics and Section Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Kay, who worked out of Meriter Hospital during her time in Madison, says she misses the community and the hospital, which she called “a great place to work.” Kay is married with two children, and says that she is proud of maintaining an academic medical career while raising a family.
