Le Chardonnay’s cooking is classic French with a soupçon of Mediterranean specialties. Authentic garlicky escargot, crisp duck à l’orange and hearty beef Bourguignon are regulars on the menu. All-you-can-eat moules et frites (mussels and fries) on Tuesday and Thursday along with much-anticipated themed dinners have won rave reviews and have garnered a loyal following of enthusiastic patrons. Tunisian-born chef and proprietor Sami Fgaier dotes over both his food and his guests. The restaurant is comfortably casual with a demeanor befitting a Parisian bistro. Le Chardonnay is the perfect rendezvous for the serious gourmand, a group of good friends or a romantic tête-à-tête.
