Women Guides Drug Addicts Toward RecoveryShelly Dutch supports people who struggle with substance abuse through her position as founder of the Recovery Foundation and director of Connections Counseling. Dutch says she values the mentorship programs of the two organizations because they allows people to reach out to each other on a personal level. As an individual who has undergone treatment, Dutch says she felt alone. Her hope is others will be able to utilize Recovery Foundation's resources to cope. |

Klatt, a surgeon from Tacoma, Washington, realized communities are powerful in their ability to raise funds because almost everybody knows someone who has been impacted by cancer. |

She says today's nursing students are crucial as the baby boomer generation ages. Scholarships for nursing students provided by the Tee Up for Nursing help alleviate the burden of paying for college. |

Former MPD Detective Provided Victims with ReliefMarion G. Morgan discovered her duty as a detective with the Madison Police Department included assistance to victims of sensitive crimes. Morgan helped establish the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program at Meriter Hospital and worked with community resource agencies on a regular basis. |
