A celebrity auction will also be a part of the event, and there is an opportunity for event guests to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences with some of Madison's fine arts performers, athletes, community leaders, and other famous persons of interest. The Madison Music Makers website will include an updated list of the auction participants.
This event is an important fundraiser for the organization. Tickets are $35 per person, or $100 per family; the performances and festive refreshments are included with the ticket admission (available at www.madisonmusicmakers.org). Proceeds from the event will directly support Madison Music Makers.
The Music Makers program serves some of the Madison area’s most vulnerable children, and works to support the long-term development of music performance skills and higher education goals by eliminating traditional barriers to participation, such as cost and transportation. Scholarships for professionally-taught lessons and instruments are available to any motivated student.
Madison Music Makers students receive year-round instruction, and participate in a variety of performances throughout the year.
