| Description |
Join the Madison Civics Club in their luncheon series and welcome speaker Carolyn "Biddy" Martin, former UW-Madison chancellor and current Amherst College president. Topic of speaker is “The Challenge of Pursuing Innovation in Academia.” Luncheon meeting reservations should be mailed to the Reservations Chair, Irene Zimmerman, 3634 Dennett Drive, Madison, WI 53714. Irene's phone number is 608-241-1158. The deadline for reservations is 7pm on the Friday one week prior to the meeting (that is, eight days before the meeting date). Members can also make a reservation online. The cost of bringing a guest is $30 (a discount is offered for qualified students). If you are unable to attend a luncheon for which you have already made a reservation, please call Irene Zimmerman at (608) 241-1158 as soon as possible. If you cancel your unneeded reservation before the deadline, we can apply the meal cost savings to a student group; even if you cancel after the deadline, this will permit us to admit additional guests. We appreciate your attention to this detail. |
