Green Building Tour

Description	Tour our ‘green’ monastery building, dedicated in November 2009, and certified by the US Green Building Council in 2010 at the platinum level, with 63 out of a possible 69 points on the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) New Construction-v2.2 scale. Learn about geothermal heating and cooling, renewable resources, daylighting, photo voltaic cells, rain gardens, pervious concrete, green roofs, solar tubes and much more! Tour dates include: January 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm - Greg Armstrong February 24, 2013 at 10:30 am - Neal Smith (after Sunday Assembly) April 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm - Greg Armstrong (following Community Workday and lunch) May 14, 2013 at 3:00 pm - Mark Hanson (evening prayer option at 4:30 pm) June 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm - Neal Smith (including Volunteer in Community participants)
