Description

The layering of colored pencils and acrylic paints is a fantastic technique for building up soft textures, sharp edges, and rich colors. Drawing from colorful photographs or still-life objects, you will explore the techniques used to take colored pencils a step beyond their traditional use. This class is taught by New York Botanical Garden graduate and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Instructor, Dawn Flores. A supply list will be sent to you; bring a bag lunch. For adults and youth (ages 16 & up). Space is limited so register early. The registration deadline is Thursday, July 25. To register call 608-246-4550.
