Riddled with Taste

What’s black and white and red all over? Icon on State Street, whose selection of Spanish-style small plates is as stylish and bold as its décor. Tons of traditional tapas include a Spanish tortilla with potatoes, empanadas and platters of imported cured meats, cheese and olives. The full menu includes deliciously refreshing salads, substantial entrées and delectable desserts. Like any respectable tapas bar, wine choices are exceptional: 114 by the bottle, twenty by the half bottle and fifty-three by the glass, as well as several types of sangria, sherry and port. The Icon is open every day but Monday and serves food until midnight Thursday through Saturday.
