Pick of the Week: Cold-Weather Style
Although you may often hear the lament "it's hard to look stylish when it's cold" I'd like to challenge that idea because it is indeed possible. With the new crop of cute faux fur and sherpa-lined boots, faux-fur jackets and enviably stylish wrap sweaters out there, cool weather can be ideal for expressing your personal style chops.
Recently I was introduced to a product I had never heard of before called the RubyJupe skirt. This lightweight skirt comes in three lengths and is made for layering over leggings, jeans or tights. The polyester-filled skirt adds extra warmth to your ensemble and comes in three lengths. More importantly it adds a chic look to your winter outfit. I could see any fashionable Madison woman walking downtown wearing this in the winter—which is appropos because the skirt was developed by two Madisonians!
RubyJupe comes in three lengths: mini, midi and maxi and in sizes XS-XL. Find them at: RubyJupe.com, Neena, Fleet Feet Sports and A Stone's Throw.
