Fair Indigo’s Fundraiser for Local Schools

When: May 8, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Where: Fair Indigo, 570 N. Midvale Blvd.
Details: It’s the fair-trade retailer’s fourth annual event where one hundred percent of their total sales go to education. Half will go to the local school of your choice and the other half for education in the communities around the world where their products are made.

Spring Open House

When: May 8-9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Botham Vineyards, 8180 Langberry Rd., Barneveld
Details: Why not bring Mom to Botham? The Open House is featuring tours, tastings, cheese sampling, live music and an art exhibtion. Plus attendees can pack a picnic and come for the day to relax. Admission is $5, and children uner 12 are free.

Gallery Night

When: May 8, 5-9 p.m.
Where: Sixty-five venues across the city (check for a map). One notable retailer that’s participating is Indocara (540 W. Washington Ave., 251-7711), where owner Natahsa Vora will have wine and an artisanal cheese tasting for attendees! By the way, this Gallery Night has the most participants yet to date.
