Make Dad Glad

Make Dad Glad

Looking for last-minute Father’s Day gifts?

Five ideas:
1. Build-your-own six-pack with microbrews or pick up spirits by Wisconsin distillery Death's Door like their vodka or gin at Barriques.

2. Context has lots of ideas for Dad including: The Hill-Side for Context pocket squares (right), The Hill-Side scarves, Apolis Activism chambray swim trunks, Band of Outsiders skinny ties, and a Levi’s Vintage Clothing button-up, among other things.

3. My favorite: a wine or beer and cheese pairing from Fromagination.

4. HYART Gallery has lots of things for Dad: Teraforma Whisky Stones or their Whisky Lover Set, which includes two tumblers with six stones; Iron Design Studio cast-iron bottle openers; Artisan ceramic mugs and Artisan steel belt buckles. Go to the gallery to see more!

5. Does Dad like the Madison lakes? Gingko Tree has Madison lakes merchandise, like wall hangings, mugs, coasters and more featuring maps of Mendota, Monona and Wingra. Also check out the vintage-look wall hangings that feature Madison.

About This Blog

As Madison Magazine's associate and style editor, Shayna Miller writes the monthly "Window Shopping" column about Madison's coolest store owners, products and shops. She also reports on Madison's most stylish people, chic items she loves, store events and sales, and additional dish in her weekly blog. Her favorite places to check out around town are consignment and vintage shops for one-of-a-kind treasures, new restaurants and bars, and anywhere that affords her the opportunity to meet and talk to Madison's most inspirational (and many times, fashionable!) people.
