PIck of the Week: Tool Time

PIck of the Week: Tool Time

I had long been on the hunt for a tool belt. No, I'm not particularly handy at home, but I needed something to stuff all of my photo-shoot necessities in on photo shoot days. But tool belts are pretty tricky to find if you don't want something extremely heavy duty or something that will pull your pants down from the sheer weight of it!

Browsing at Duluth Trading's Mt. Horeb shop the other week I came across this women's canvas gardening apron and decided it was exactly what I was looking for. The size was quite manageable with large front and back pockets and there's even a handy tool belt loop, too. I love the color (a rich plum) and I'm excited that I won't look like Bob Vila on photo shoot days—I'll look stylishly sleek with all of my essentials in place.

Another amazing aspect of this apron is that it's only $14.95! My boss already eyed it up and I won't be surprised if she picks one up too—for gardening, of course.
