Eat for Equity puts on community meals to raise money for non-profits, like last summer's farm dinner, pictured, and this coming Sunday's farm brunch.
Madison Whole Foods is holding a Cheese Night out on the patio, featuring demonstrations on grilling artisan cheeses and how to pair them with accouterments and wine. 5–6 p.m., wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/madison
Craft beer enthusiasts, join brewers from the Great Dane and Deschutes Brewery, which is new to the Wisconsin market, at the Dane’s Hilldale location for Hats Off to Homebrewers. Learn more about decomposition at Ripe and Rot: A Decomposium. The event, held at Park Hall in Sauk City and put on the by non-profit Wormfarm Institute, will bring together composers, farmers, artists, scientists, sextons and poets to explore how things break down.
