You may know it as Madison’s Official Birthday Place, but the Nitty Gritty has another thing going for it.
Both the downtown (233 N. Francs St.) and Middleton (1021 N. Gammon Rd.) Nitty locations are now serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Look for morning staples like scramblers, French toast and on-trend mini donuts, plus twelve breakfast burrito and sandwich varieties.
And with one of the most extensive hair of the dog lists we’ve seen in Madison, check out the “liquid brunch” menu, with ten different mimosas, a Bloody-by-the-liter special and pretty much any other morning cocktail you’d expect.
And we know what you’re thinking: Can you still cash in on the free beer/cocktail/soda on your birthday while you get your brunch on?
“Yes,” says Brandi Hintze, advertising and media relations director for the Nitty. “Absolutely.”
